What do the mass graves tell us?
Mass graves tell us about the terrible war during the German occupation; when we pass by and look at the long rows of graves, so many unpleasant memories come flooding back! So many of our brothers are buried there! Innocently shot, killed or murdered in cruel ways. What terrible tortures and sufferings our brothers endured! They gave their lives for their country! Many of them orphaned their children or left behind old mothers, whole families and dear friends, and now they lie alone in dark graves. But their memory will forever remain in our hearts. The graves of our heroes who died for their homeland will remain in the heart of every Pole for all time.
