What do the mass graves tell us?

Mass graves tell us that someone is buried there. It may be someone who was dragged out of the house and killed in the forest. A teacher or a professor, or some innocent Pole who was on a train and the Germans thought he was a partisan. We also have graves of fallen soldiers in Dąbrowa, on the edge of the forest. We often visit these graves. Schoolchildren make wreaths and decorate these graves. These soldiers were killed in 1939 in the war. These soldiers fought for our country. We also have a grave near the road leading from Kielce to Warsaw – the grave of a scout innocently killed by the Germans. We decorate this grave as well.
