What do the mass graves tell us?

Mass graves tell us that someone is buried in them. In our neighborhood, there are graves of Polish soldiers who died in 1939 in defense of their homeland. There are also graves of Poles who were murdered during the German occupation. There are many graves of innocent Poles who were murdered by the Germans. There are fathers and mothers of children there, there is also the Polish youth. We were sorry to see the Germans kill Poles, for example near the church of St. Adalbert. We have a lot of such graves in Poland. The Germans tormented Poles, took them away from their homes and families, and killed them. People died in the camps and prisons and working in the trenches. They also starved to death. The Germans rounded up Poles, took them to work in Germany, and killed them. These graves need to be looked after. There are many such graves in Poland.
