What do the mass graves tell us?
In our neighborhood, there are graves of Polish soldiers who died for their homeland in 1939. There are also graves of fathers, mothers and children. Mass graves tell us that someone is buried in them. It was sad to see how the Germans shot Poles by the wall of St. Adalbert’s Church. There are many such graves in Poland. The Germans murdered Poles. They took them from their families’ homes and killed them. During round-ups, they murdered and shot Poles and took them for labor in Germany. Many people died in camps and prisons. The Germans murdered the Polish nation. These graves need to be taken care of. There are many such graves in Poland.
