My wartime experience
During the war with Germany, we went to Rozwadówka one day, and on the very next day I had my First Communion. When I was going back, the Germans stole my bicycle, and then, when I went to Rozwadówka, I saw German cars parked there. When the cars arrived, nine guerilla soldiers brought four Germans there. Soon after, the Russian tanks arrived. One of the guerilla fighters sat on a tank, and the others took those Germans somewhere. Then I saw Kołpak [Kowpak] and his troops fighting the Germans. The Russian army arrived in Wisznice at night.
