On 29 October 1947, in Końskie, lawyer Stanisław Dębniak, member of the District Commission for the Investigation of German Crimes in Radom, with its headquarters in Końskie, heard the person named below as an unsworn witness. Having been advised of the criminal liability for making false declarations and of the wording of Article 107 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, the witness testified as follows:

This was before the harvest in 1943 or 1944, before sunrise. Six cars with German military police passed through the village of Nieświń. I saw Poles in two of the cars (men only) who were tied in twos by the hands with belts. Before reaching Fidor, the cars stopped and everyone got out. Then the military policemen took the arrestees into the field, where there were pits from crushing stones. At one point, I heard machine gun shots. Then, one car went back to Końskie with four military policemen. It stopped in front of my house and one of the military policemen, when he saw me, called me over, saying that they had shot 25 bandits outside the village. He ordered me and some others to bury those murdered and report it to the military police. At that, with eight others, I went to the execution site, where the murdered people lay covered with some earth in the pits. I recognized [among them] only the village head of Smarków; the others also recognized him.
I reported the filling of the pits with the murdered to the military police in Końskie. I did not know the military policemen who were involved in the execution.
The report was concluded, read out, and signed.
