On 10 April 1943, Polish partisans – about 27 of them – arrived in the village of Rudzisko, Czermno commune, Końskie district; they came to my flat, where they stopped to rest. About 12:00 PM, gendarmes from the Kielce unit arrived in two cars, and action started between [them and] the Polish partisans. Eleven of the Polish partisans, whom I didn’t know, were killed. Their bodies were buried in the cemetery in Fałków.
