On 8 November 1947, with the participation of reporter R. Muszyńska, Investigative Judge W. Kuryłowicz of the Regional Court in Końskie interviewed the person named below as an unsworn witness. Having been advised of the criminal liability for making false declarations and of the wording of Article 107 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, the witness testified as follows:

On 7 December 1943, three German gendarmes came to my house. I was making bread at that time. It was morning. My husband and sons were in the yard, and the partisan was still asleep on the bed. The Germans told me to go out of the house and call my husband. When I went outside, they noticed the partisan lying on the bed and put him in handcuffs right away. My husband and sons escaped, and I returned home. The Germans asked me who the commander of the partisans was. When I answered that I didn’t know, they put me next to the fence and said they would kill me. I replied again that I didn’t know. The Germans allowed me to return to my house and started to carry everything out of it. They also took the livestock and deadstock [machinery], as well as grain and food; the partisan and I were transported to Końskie, where I was imprisoned for three weeks. [Regarding the] partisan, Józef Łuszczyński, I’ve heard that the Germans shot him in Końskie after two weeks. I was transferred to the Majdanek camp, and then further, to Germany. I returned to Poland in July 1945.
