To the Supreme Tribunal for
the Investigation of German Crimes

I, the undersigned, prisoner of block 18 in Majdanek (no. 1840) from 1943 to April 1944, then prisoner of Ravensbrück and Buchenwald till the liberation of that camp, have found out from a radio and newspaper reports about the ongoing trial in Kraków against Nazi criminals. Therefore, I would like to provide some information.

I met defendant Alice Orlowski in the camp in Majdanek. She was the worst tormentor. I saw her beat prisoners until they lost consciousness. She carried a whip and a revolver by her side. Although I did not work under her supervision, she also hit me in the face with the whip for being out of step while marching. I also have scars from the bites of a dog that she set on me. When women spoke Polish to her, she hit them with a whip in the face until they were covered in blood. She also called them names and set dogs on them. I can repeat the above accusations before the Tribunal. I would also like to stress that I lost my husband in Majdanek.
