Pursuant to our letter from 2 December 1945 with a description of the circumstances of the arrest, deportation and execution by the Gestapo of our late brother, Jan Piotrowski, an official of the Polish Consulate in Olsztyn, deported on 4 September 1939 with consul Jałowiecki and all of the officials to Bad Rouschen, from there to a prison in Königsberg, then to the concentration camp in Hohenbruch Kreis Labian Ost. Pr., and eventually to Soldau Südostpreussen, where he was murdered, we are sending in (attached) evidence in the form of two found postcards and a copy of a summons we received to the Soldier’s Home to hear the announcement of our late murdered brother’s death, for your use.
