1942, the exact date is unknown.

Shooting.

3. Personal data of the murdered victims:

Poles, Jews, foreigners: Poles.

Number of murdered victims: 2.

The victims were brought in from: One person was brought from the direction of Opatów, the other was captured on the spot.

Surnames, ages, professions/occupations, addresses:

1) Gubernat (first name unknown), 20 years old – brought from the direction of Opatów, 2) Lucjan Grabara, about 50 years old, bookkeeper of the Brotherly Help from Sandomierz, who happened to pass the night in Koćmierzów, Samborzec commune; he was arrested and shot.

4. Is it known what the victims were accused of, whether the execution was carried out in retaliation, etc.?

They were accused of being members of clandestine Polish organizations.

5. Who carried out the execution (gendarmes, Gestapo men, SS men, policemen, the Wehrmacht)?

The SD and the gendarmerie.

6. Are the surnames of the perpetrators known (provide the surnames if known)?

No.

7. Were the corpses burnt or destroyed otherwise?

No.

8. Where were the corpses buried (provide the exact location)?

Gubernat was buried by the locals at the cemetery in Samborzec. Lucjan Grabara was buried by his family in Sandomierz.

9. Description of the place of burial (graves, dimensions, estimated number of victims buried in one grave):

10. Were the corpses exhumed, were they officially reinterred (report)? If “yes” to the latter, then where?

There is no such need.

11. Are there any grounds for conducting their exhumation in the future?

No.

On 18 September 1945, the contents of the above questionnaire were officially confirmed by the head of Samborzec commune, Czesław Mroczek, with the Municipal Court in Sandomierz.
