On 12 October 1942, Antonina Janina Gutkowska, a teacher from Radom, born on 12 October 1892, was executed, along with others, in Różki near Radom. Gutkowska was my friend. We lived close to each other and we often visited each other.

Gutkowska was arrested on 25 September 1942. On that day I went over to her place and came across six Gestapo men searching her apartment. Gutkowska was lying on the ground. I was detained too. However, half an hour later I was released, having been first forced to swear that I wouldn’t tell anyone what I had seen there. After Gutkowska’s arrest, it was no longer possible to get in touch with her in any way. The Gestapo arrested her in connection with her political activity.

I wasn’t at the site at which she was executed. However, I recognized her in the photograph of the people executed in Różki.

Having been shown a photograph of the people hanged in Różki, the witness testified as follows:

Among the people hanged in Rożki I recognize Antonina Gutkowska: she is third from the left or thirteenth from the right in the photograph marked as "Różki 1" and third from the left in the photograph "Różki 2".

The report was read out.
