On 14 October 1942, my brother Czesław Stefański, born on 14 June 1914, a locksmith at

the Arms Factory, was executed near the Arms Factory in Radom.

I was at the execution site two hours after the execution and I saw the bodies still hanging from the gallows. Among the hanged I recognized my brother and Roman Ptaszyński. The latter also worked at the Arms Factory.

The bodies were left hanging from the gallows for the whole day. I don’t know where they were later taken, probably to Firlej.

I don’t know why my brother was executed. I saw a board set up next to the gallows. It followed from the notice posted on it that the people executed on the gallows were criminals or bandits.

Having been shown a photograph of the people hanged near the Arms Factory in Radom, the witness testified as follows:

The photograph is too blurred for me to recognize either my brother or Roman Ptaszyński. I certainly recognized them on the day on which they were executed.

The report was read out.
