With regard to the matter at hand I can provide the following information: I don’t remember the exact date, but it was in March 1943. Some 40 Poles were brought to Koprzywnica from the prison in Ostrowiec and executed by the wall. After the salvos died down, the murderers approached their victims, kicking the bodies and shooting at them from close distance. Following the execution, posters with the following wording were put up all over the town: “sentenced to death by firing squad by an SS court for membership of an illegal organization.” Just before leaving, the perpetrators ordered the commune administrator and the blue police to take the bodies to the nearby woods and bury them in an unmarked grave. This is all that I know in the present case.

At this the report was concluded, read out and signed.
