Kielce, 28 January 1949, 2.00 a. m. Jan Zielono from the Criminal Investigation Section of the Citizens’ Militia Station in Kielce, on the instruction of the Deputy Prosecutor from the Regional District Court Prosecutor’s Office in Radom, dated 26 August [?] 1948, with the participation of court reporter Józef Łukasik, interviewed the person named below as a witness. Having been advised of the criminal liability for making false declarations and of the wording of Article 140 of the Penal Code, the witness testified as follows:

I do not remember the exact date, but in October 1944 I was caught by the Gestapo and incarcerated in the camp which was situated in Bukówka, in the former barracks of the 4th Legions’ Infantry Regiment.
I stayed in this camp for one day only, as it was a transit camp.
There were over 3,000 people in this camp, only Poles who had been caught in round-ups. Nobody worked in that camp. We received unsweetened coffee and a loaf of bread for several people.
From that camp, people were deported for forced labor and to camps in Germany.
I do not know whether any executions were carried out in that camp. I do not know the surnames of the Germans who were on duty in that camp.
I do not know when the camp was closed as I had been deported to the camp in Landrow, from which I escaped and returned only in December 1944.
