A report drawn up on 10 October 1946 by the Communal Commission of the commune of Zaborów (district of Warsaw) for the Investigation of German Crimes, concerning the deportation of residents figuring in a list of hostages and the presumed murder of Stanisław Przygoda.
The following man was examined in the case:
1) the leader of the community of Buda, Józef Przygoda, who having been advised of the criminal liability for making false declarations or ones inconsistent with the truth, testified as follows:
In November 1944, some Germans drove up from Zaborów (Sicherheitspolizei) and took my son Stanisław, and also Tadeusz Frankowski, Edward Malarowski and Jan Rosciński from our house; all four were detained in the school in Zaborów. Next, they were transferred to Pawiak, and four days later mentioned as hostages in a published list.
They were in all probability murdered, for not one of them has given a sign of life to the present day.
