The Main Commission for the Investigation of German Crimes in Warsaw
On the premises of Pomiechówek Fort (one of the forts of the Modlin Fortress), there was a police camp for political prisoners, run by the Gestapo from Nowy Dwór and Płock. There were only two ways out of this camp: either to a concentration camp or to the gallows, which could accommodate 24 people at once. Interrogation methods and executions of this kind could only have been conceived by the Germans.
I was imprisoned for eight months in this camp (my stay was the longest one) and I was then deported to a concentration camp. Since I have not encountered these in the press in Pomiechówek, I would like to submit the surnames of some of the German tormentors whom I remember, and I can also provide the surnames of witnesses who have come back from concentration camps.
