Name and surname Marianna Plenzner

During the Uprising I lived in Włochy. My son took an active part in the Uprising in Warsaw. I learned from his friends that his post was at Czeczota Street 5 in Mokotów.

When the Soviet troops entered Warsaw, I began to look for my son, who had not returned home. I learned from the residents of the house at Czeczota Street 3 that all the residents of these houses and the insurgents had been marched by the Germans to the Mokotów fort. I could not determine whether my son, who had been wounded, was among those who were taken there. Just in case, I also checked the vicinity of Mokotów fort. I learned from the residents of that neighborhood that there had been many Poles in the fort during the Uprising, brought there by the Germans. Two men and a woman who live by the fort (I don’t know their surnames or addresses, but I can point out the house in which they live) told me that they had seen during the Uprising how the Germans had dug a large pit on the fort premises. At the same time they had seen a group of young boys standing nearby, who had been anxiously inquiring about their fate. These boys were soon gone and the pit was covered with earth. The people who told me this showed me the spot where the pit had been. Later the Municipal Funeral Service carried out an exhumation there, at which I was present. 18 men and a woman were uncovered. I did not find my son. It was in December 1945.

The report was read out.
